Lubrication

Lubrication is based on inserting a thin separating layer between two surfaces subjected to friction, thus minimizing rubbing and subsequent wear of the surfaces.

Lubrication involves several factors:

Installation: Surface conditions, texture, materials employed, number of lubricant injectors.

Physical factors: Temperature, conveyor length, load, noise.

Chemical factors: Lubricant dose, pH, water hardness, scale deposits, foam generation.

Betelgeux offers several lubricating products and systems: sanitizing lubricants, silicone-based lubricants and the novel dry-lubrication system, which does not use water and therefore allows a great reduction in water consumption.
